About the position

Responsibilities

  • Migrate application information from the old housing application waiting list to the new software and database system.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy of migrated data to maintain data integrity during the migration process.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the migrated data promptly.
  • Potentially follow up with clients regarding their application status, providing assistance and support as needed throughout the transition.
  • Assist in organizing and categorizing application data within the new system, ensuring it is easily accessible and retrievable for all authorized personnel.
  • Adhere strictly to data privacy and confidentiality policies to safeguard sensitive information throughout the migration process and beyond.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • High school diploma, Preferably 1st year University
  • Highly experienced with Excel and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to Detail
  • General understanding of social housing applications
  • Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
  • Integrity in handling sensitive information and ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new software applications and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data entry and data management software.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data migration tools.
  • Knowledge of data validation techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to use spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for data analysis and validation.

 

Shift hours

12 hours / week (Ideally 4 hours per day)
