The WoodGreen Foundation is the charitable arm of WoodGreen Community Services.
We inspire philanthropic support that enables WoodGreen to fulfill its mission of enhancing self-sufficiency, promoting wellbeing and reducing poverty among the most vulnerable members of the community. Our donors and volunteers have an opportunity to become meaningfully engaged in this work and to see the life-changing impact of their contributions.
The Foundation accepts gifts restricted to a specific purpose, provided that WoodGreen Community Services can reasonably utilize the gift. We apply a fee of up to 10 percent to all restricted donations. This fee provides us with increased capacity to raise and allocate funds for priority needs and to cover administrative costs such as stewardship granting and reporting. In the unlikely event that it is impractical to continue to apply the gift to the designated purpose, the Foundation may redesignate the gift, in consultation with the donor, adhering as closely as possible to the original intent of the gift.
