Toronto, ON – WoodGreen Community Services in partnership with George Brown College is proud to be a recipient of the Women’s Economic Security Program. We wholeheartedly thank the Ontario government for their generous 3-year investment toward our CNC/Precision Machining Program at George Brown College.
Our skills-based employment program prepares women for entry-level work in the manufacturing sector. Launched in partnership with employers, this program provides financial support to help students pay for their training and connect them with professionals to learn more about the experiences of working in trades. We are thankful for the government's continued support in our mission to empower individuals through skills development.
The Ontario government’s investment through the Women’s Economic Security Program will support programs in addressing barriers that women face to workforce participation and career advancement. WoodGreen looks forward to continuing to partner with the government in supporting women in building economic stability.
