How WoodGreen helps
Investment in innovation and technology among community agencies lags far behind other sectors, yet this is where it has the greatest potential for impact. As the largest social service organization in Toronto, WoodGreen provides critical support to more than 37,000 people annually. With targeted investments in technology, we can do more.
Faced with rapidly changing client needs during the pandemic, WoodGreen adapted to a virtual model of service delivery to ensure access for our most vulnerable community members. Today, the majority of our clients continue to choose online programming. Virtual workshops, webinars, counselling and wellness checks have also yielded significant cost savings, while improved data collection has enabled WoodGreen to pilot new and innovative projects.
With your help, we will continue to invest in technology that drives systems change and delivers lasting impacts for Toronto residents.
